Abstract
Recently, the Fontan procedure has been popularized for the correction of tricuspid atresia, univentricular heart and some other complex cardiac anomalies. In our department this procedure has been used on four patients, two of them with tricuspid atresia and the other two with univentricular heart. In this report, the indications, the surgical techniques and the results are all discussed in detail.
