Abstract
An 11-year-old boy with a history of recurrent and widespread pyogenic infection had abnormal neutrophil chemotaxis which probably accounted for his susceptibility to infection. Cellular and humoral immunity tests were normal.
This patient represents another of the growing number of cases with distinct chemotaxis defects, currently being recognized as increasing susceptibility to infection.
