Abstract

Forty infants with intrauterine malnutrition were studied for their bone development and incidence of hypoglycemia. Correlation between fetal and maternal factors and intrauterine malnutrition was investigated. Delayed development of the bone growth and a high incidence of hypoglycemia were found with intrauterine malnutrition. The importance of neonatal care for these infants is once more emphasized.
