Abstract
The case of a child with podophyllin poisoning is presented, and the treatment discussed. The patient recovered after severe peripheral collapse but possible cerebral cortical damage is evidenced by slight ataxia of the left leg noted six months after discharge from the hospital. The patient had ingested 350 mg of podophyllin contained in Bilaks tablets.
