Abstract

The present report deals with the clinical findings, course of illness and management of 20 cases of acute accidental ingestion of a proprietary preparation, Optalidon®, containing isobutylallyl barbituric acid, aminopyrine, and caffeine. All of the patients survived. The side affects and hazards of the constituent drugs are discussed.
