Abstract
The effect of magnesium sulfate on the blood sugar levels of three moderately well-regulated diabetic children is reported. With magnesium sulfate infusion in all these cases initial high blood sugar levels decreased considerably. Magnesium sulfate was not effective at all in three children with normal blood sugar levels.
