Abstract
The case of plasma cell granuloma of the cardioesophageal region in an eight-year-old girl, and the surgical treatment of it, is reported. Primary involvement in this localization has not been previously described in children. The patient has been followed up postoperatively for five years and no clinical evidence of recurrence has been observed.
