Abstract
A study carried out on 89 children who underwent ureteroneocystostomy for vesicoureteral reflux in the Department of Urology of Hacettepe University from 1969 to 1984, is described. The overall success rate was 87.10% as opposed to the 90 - 95% reported in other series. This low success rate can perhaps be attributed to the heterogenous characteristics of the group.
