Cherubism is a distinctive hereditary form of fibrous dysplasia which primarily involves the jaws. It has its onset in early childhood and usually regresses following puberty. Adults who have had this disease during their childhood have little or no sequelae. Pertinent clinical and radiological features of this rare entity are reviewed and a new case report is presented.
